Bentley Bites Back

by Michael D 21 Sept 2009

Signs that the luxury car industry is putting its foot to the pedal and out-running the economic slow-down are emerging. Bentley, based in Crewe, England, and owned by Vaulkswagon, expects sales to improve next year, which is good news for Prestige Car Hire London leasers.

Bentley plan to release their new luxury saloon, the Mulsane, in Summer 2010, which will replace the Arnage. With the economy picking up, this will effect the luxury car hire market as more leasers will no-doubt seek to invest in new models like the Mulsane, which will retail at £139, 000.

Bentlley is not the only manufacturer to suffer from a sales slump. Lamborghini and Rolls Royce have also been hit by buyers, including the executive car hire end of the market, concerned that the value of their investment in a luxury car model may decrease more rapidly than usual.

This comes on the back of the news that Bentley Also intend to release a new Bentley Continental Supersports which has one eye firmly fixed on environmental rather than economic factors. However, unlike previous eco-friendly vehicles, the Continental Supersports does not compromise on performance. If you think that limo hire helps your carbon footprint (as more people travel in one vehicle...it can't be denied!), the new Continental Supersports will run on ethanol and yet still accelerates from 0-60 in a staggering 3.7 seconds!

Prestige Car Hire London no longer has to be just a money-saving way to travel, then.
